Earthly Becomings
Table Manners

Earthly Becomings was a transdisciplinary performance and role-playing game held during a dinner party at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The evening immersed guests in a world of climate advocacy, more-than-human entanglements, and negotiations, blending the backdrop of academic scholarship with playful and nurturing habits of coalition-building. Throughout the game, inhabitants and exhabitants of Earth strategically built alliances, disrupted harmony, and engaged in earnest and deceitful discussions that highlighted geoempathy as a strategy for architecture after the end of the world. This transdisciplinary experience wove together architecture and storytelling, inviting guests to explore the intricate connections between human and non-human actors, the environment, and the structures that shape Earth.
